Current prices and offers (October 2026): Motorola India still lists the base model at ₹59,999. During Flipkart’s Big Billion Days 2026 sale, the 12GB + 256GB model was offered at ₹57,499 with bank offers, and Amazon listed it at about ₹59,190 on October 19. Display: 6.8-inch, 165Hz, 6,200 nits
The 6.8-inch LTPO AMOLED screen runs at up to 165Hz and, according to Motorola, reaches 6,200 nits at its peak — Motorola calls it the brightest display in its category. Peak figures like this usually apply to small HDR highlights rather than the full screen, but it means the phone stays easy to read in direct Indian sunlight. Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protects the front.
Performance: Snapdragon 8 Gen 5
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 is a 3nm flagship chip with CPU speeds up to 3.8GHz. Note that it’s the regular 8 Gen 5, not the “Elite” version found in some rivals at this price, so peak benchmark scores are a step lower. For everyday use, gaming and camera processing it’s still a very fast chip. With 12GB or 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, apps open and switch quickly.
Cameras: three 50MP sensors
All three rear cameras are 50MP:
- Main: Sony LYTIA 828 with f/1.6 aperture and OIS — the phone’s DXOMARK Gold Label camera.
- Ultrawide: 122° field of view, also used for macro shots.
- Telephoto: Sony LYTIA 600 periscope with 3x optical zoom and OIS, up to 100x digital “Super Zoom”.
The 50MP Sony LYTIA 500 selfie camera is a big step up from the usual 32MP front cameras. Video goes up to 8K at 30fps, with Dolby Vision at 4K 60fps.
Battery and charging
The 5,200mAh silicon-carbon battery is large for a phone only 6.99mm thick. Motorola rates it at up to 41 hours of mixed use and 28 hours of video playback.

Storage can’t be expanded later — there’s no microSD slot — so choose carefully:
- 12GB + 256GB (₹59,999): enough for most people who store photos in Google Photos or the cloud.
- 16GB + 512GB (₹64,999): the best value for heavy users. ₹5,000 more gets you double the storage and extra RAM.
- 16GB + 1TB (₹69,999): for creators who shoot a lot of 4K or 8K video, keep big offline media libraries, or plan to use the phone for many years. 8K video files fill storage very quickly.

Motorola has confirmed the motorola signature 27 for November 2026, with the faster Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6, a 200MP periscope telephoto camera and Bang & Olufsen audio. Its India price hasn’t been announced.
